Pet Licenses

All dogs and cats over six (6) months of age residing in North Oaks must be registered with the City. The license assists in the timely return of lost pets and assists in the prevention of the spread of rabies.

Licenses are required by Ordinance for all dogs and cats being kept or owned in the City. The license fee is $15 per pet and expires with the rabies expiration date.

No more than three dogs or cats are allowed at an address.

To license your pet with the City, mail a copy the current Certification of Rabies Vaccination, along with a $15 check made payable to the City of North Oaks,  to City Hall at 100 Village Center Drive, Suite 230, North Oaks, MN 55127.  A receipt of payment and rabies tags will be mailed back to you.

As an alternative, you may also email a copy of the Rabies Vaccination to northoaks@northoaksmn.gov and submit payment online.
