Deer and Wildlife Management

Notice:

• It is illegal to feed deer or other wildlife in North Oaks according to City Ordinance 90.01.
• In addition, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) wildlife managers are urging people not to feed deer even though it may appear they need help. More information from the DNR is available here: Department of Natural Resources - Deer Management
• Please note that occasional Bear sightings have also been known to occur in North Oaks.  During these times of year, typically late spring and early fall, please take down bird feeders that may be a source of food for Bears.  This will remove easy food sources and encourage any bear to safely and naturally move along it's path.  Refer to the tips below from Ramsey County.
