City Council
About Us
The City Council is responsible for setting City policy through ordinances and resolutions. The Council also has sole responsibility for adopting the City’s budget. The Council legislates by passing Ordinances which are the City regulations for residents within North Oaks jurisdiction.
The local government in North Oaks is composed of a Mayor who serves a two-year term and four Council members who serve staggered four-year terms.
Meetings
The City Council meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Meeting Room, 100 Village Center Drive*, Suite 150, North Oaks, MN 55127. Residents are encouraged to attend!
For ease of access for residents, members of the public are welcome to participate either in person or remotely in these meetings. Full details on ways to view meetings and provide input can found by selecting City Hall / Agendas & Minutes from the drop down menu above. The meeting agenda packet will be published on the respective meeting calendar entry no later than 72 hours prior to each meeting.
