Brush Pick up Day Coming - May 30th

The City and NOHOA are co-hosting and coordinating a brush pickup for interested residents. This is a great opportunity for a 1-time easy pickup of all the brush/tree limbs that have gathering from the winter. Brush Pickup Day is Thursday, May 30th, 2024. If all the brush is not picked up that day, work will continue the following day. The estimated cost for a dumpster size load of brush (14ft X 7.5ft X 3.5 ft and equals 10 cubic yards) is $140, but rates vary depending on the amount of brush.

Budget Tree Service will be doing the work, with the assistance of the City Forester to answer resident questions. For ease of pick up, we ask that branches be place “end side” towards the street along the road and not under any power lines. If you are interested in signing up for this service, please review the letter for pricing detail and instructions, and return the waiver to the City office via email northoaks@northoaksmn.gov, or stopping by the City office by May 28th.

All residents who sign up pickup, will receive a reminder / confirmation email on Monday May 27th – a few days prior to the pickup. If you do NOT receive this reminder email and have sent in your form, please contact City Hall at 651-792-7750 to make sure you are on the list.
