North Oaks Guild 2

The North Oaks Guild II is a service organization dedicated to raising funds for the Children's Hospital Association-St. Paul.

Formed in 1967, North Oaks Guild II celebrated its 50th year in 2017. The annual North Oaks Guild II Rummage Sale began in 1998, and while there were other fundraisers conducted during the Guild’s early years, the rummage sale has provided an excellent source of financial support in addition to serving the North Oaks community in reusing and re-purposing unwanted items, and supporting local charities.

This groups enjoys telling the story of a “perfect circle” — people clean their homes and businesses of unwanted items which they donate to the annual North Oaks Guild II Rummage Sale; the guild cleans and “spiffs” things up to be sold to folks who want these items; proceeds from the sale are donated to Children’s Hospital Association to support programs and services at Children’s Minnesota; items that are left after the sale are donated to local charities for distribution to individuals with great needs – a “perfect circle.”  North Oaks Guild II has made cumulative donations over $2 million to Children’s Hospital Association over its 50 years.

The Guild collects donations for the Rummage Sale in May and September of each year, with the sale taking place the 3rd weekend in September. For information about the North Oaks Rummage Sale or email the organizers, click here.
