Can I park my recreational vehicle or boat in my driveway?

Recreational vehicles such a trailers, campers, boat are subject to ordinance 151.028(H) which indicates that these items can be out in view for a total of 30 days during a calendar year (i.e. weekends during the summer, etc.), not permanently stored in clear view in front of your home.

This ordinance states: "All recreational vehicles, disabled or stored motor vehicles, boats and trailers of all types, must be garaged or completely screened year round from all roads or adjacent dwellings, but may be parked or exhibited in view for a temporary period not exceeding 30 days in a calendar year." 

Note: Recreational vehicles is a defined term in the code, and refers to “vehicles used or designated for temporary residential occupancy” along with ATVs and snowmobiles.  View the full ordinance 151.028
